The Metabolism Myths

Effective weight loss is one of our specialties and we were recently highlighted in a Yahoo article talking about just that.

Our very own Dr. Roy Martina was cited as a leading weight loss expert, sharing valuable information and tips to help you lose weight.

His insight on postponing breakfast as long as you can is interesting information that is not widely known or practiced. Because our bodies can only store a limited amount of sugar, we will burn through our sugar reserves waiting to be replenished in the new day.

He advises against starving yourself if you are famished, but does mention to keep it light in order to give your body what it needs to satisfy without piling on the carbs.
